Believe it!:rofl: Cat, don't pull so far forward -- just pull it a bit until you feel the detent and stop before the window washing sequence for the front windshield starts. It is easy to feel if you go slowly through the motions.:thumbup:
Believe it!🤣 Cat, don't pull so far forward -- just pull it a bit until you feel the detent and stop before the window washing sequence for the front windshield starts. It is easy to feel if you go slowly through the motions.👍
I was thinking this couldn't be serious either. lol - I mean, even if you pull through forward and start the washing sequence, the rear wipers would have stopped.
There is a point of resistance in the stalk as you either push forward or back. I suspect you are pushing/pulling too hard, thus activating the washers. Try doing it gently to feel these detents.
After thinking about this a bit, it could well be that Cat has a problem with the stalk and there is no detent so it just flops back and forth. In any case since warranty is involved here do not try to fix it yourself take it to the dealer and let them look at it. Good luck and a very Merry Christmas!:angel:
Lol we just had the same issue... So funny to read this thread as we tried each suggestion to turn off rear wipers!!! We felt your pain, Cat! ***128514;***128514;***128514;
LOL had same issue today when checking over new X3. Struggled to disable back wiper.
