I really need as much advise from all aspects regarding the following.

I'm trying to make a decision to buy one of these m3's:

1) 2009, red ext, m3 yellow interior.

2,000 km
price: USD 54k

2) 2012, white ext, red interior (carbon trim) (service paid for until 2016),

47,000km
price: USD 68k

There's not nearly enough information for anyone to make a decision here. Perhaps list the equipment packages on both. Even if they are the same, I'd go for the lower mileage of the two.

Do not pay $54k for a 2009. I and many others have gotten a much newer car with low miles for that price

Mine was almost fully loaded, no auto window shades, and other crap no one needs with only 4k miles for $55k.

And that '12 is way over priced!!

Thanks guys! I'm still negotiating.

1)
My question is, has there been any improvement in the cars from 2009 to 2012?
I'm sure they found small things that required changes.

2)
If the car has such low mileage, and has been stored (; should I be worry about the state of it? If the white one has run 47k km then a major service would of been done, and major components that require replacement have been done. If I purchase the red one would I require to perform a major service?

.
Price is for Red M3 has been reduced to 50k.

Bare in mind guys:

1) 2009 red m3 has no service package, new price: 50k

2) 2012 looks better, and has a paid service for the next three years.
