I don't recall bimmerfest having a random post whatever the hell you want thread. At least not for the e30 section. i think we should.

im bored.

Basically i requested it to be a thread where you can bullsh*t about anything, flame here, cause drama here, do whatever. BUT IF YOU'RE FEELINGS GET HURT DO NOT BITCH TO A MODERATOR. I WILL STATE RIGHT HERE THAT THIS IS AN ANYTHING GOES THREAD, ONCE YOU ENTER THIS THREAD YOU ARE SUBJECT TO ANYTHING.

Claver suggested: It is forbidden to advertise, spam or announce other personal Web pages for their own benefit.

**NWS (Not Work Safe) images are NOT allowed**. No pornography or anything that has to do with it. If you want to share pictures of the sort do it through PM's. Keep this thread going to save all the unnecessary bullsh*t from overflowing into other threads.

If anyone has anything else i should add PM me.

most of us are between 17 (me) to early 20s.

I havent gone to pick up the sentra yet. im waiting for my friend to get home (he has an Izuzu VehiCross.. very cool truck haha) and then we are gunna go and pick it up.

the weather is nice today though, so i started taking the engine out of the Lada, as i have nothing else to do at the moment. done the exhaust, radiator, peripials such as the fuel pump etc. im thinking im going to have to do a full rewire. the headlights and things that i need to keep are coming from the same loom that controls the pumps and engine stuff.

i measured up the engine bay and im going to have to cut the firewall a bit. otherwise the engine is going to be sitting too far forward, and with no power steering as it is thats going to be recipe for disaster. i also have to sort out where the radiator is going as well because thats not going to fit inside the engine. i was thinking if i can mount the engine low enough then i could try a top mount radiator, and have a bonnet scoop.

for the record, yes im releasing my inner rice on the Lada, complete with 17" mags on the front and bikkies on the back (standard 13s in case you dont call them bikkies in the states), and a big bore exhaust. both of those my friend has from when he wrote off his Lancer. hes trying to get me to put the big bore onn the bimmer but its not going to happen lol

Edit: forgot to mention at this stage im about 70% sure the M20 currently in Ethrty is going into the Lada, after the swap to the M50. that way i dont have to buy another engine for the Lada, and whats more, of course im not going to repower the Lada by anything other than BMW!

40. I worked as a porter at a BMW/Benz/Porsche dealership in IL. back in the mid 80's. The E30's were great cars to drive but i was also treated to drive Benz's and 911's. I had a 98 528 sport and loved it (especially the type "5" wheels). Moved to Utah about a 1.5 yrs. ago and had a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The tranny blew on the Cherokee 4 months ago and i needed a replacement fast. I searched for all cars under $1K in my area and stumbled upon a 85' E30. Got it on the cheap and it needed work. Having learned soo much on this site i wish i would have searched for an 88-91i. But i trully enjoy this car and wished i would have gotten into the E30 scene earlier. Now i need to find an IX or go back to a jeep. I live at 6K ft. and we get tons of snow. And I only have a 2 car garage townhome and can't have a third car parked outside. P.S. I wish i had a "Steve" out here to learn more from.

My dad and uncle are ASE certified mechanics, i've been working on cars since i could walk,my first car memory was my dad having my climb inside our 1990 mazda MPV minivan and unbolt the tranny with a stubby 14mm wrench (yes i remember the size of the wrench)
