Hi guys I have a 2001 740i MSport. The front end is loose and worn as expected at 180,000 miles. So I searched online and found a control kit from auto parts warehouse. The price was really good and they offer several warrenty options. I'm just wandering if anyone ordered from them before and how good of quality the parts were. I never ordered from them and I'm a little nervous. Any info about them would be great. Thanks

The OEM arms are Lemfoerder.. http://www.rmeuropean.com/search.aspx?keyword=31121141722

When doing mine, i went with the Meyle but with heavy duty bushings...put them in over a year ago, no issues with it at all..Saved me about 30 bucks an arm for upper and lower and the swing arm support...

here is the write up i used to do mine. driver side was easy, passenger side was a pita. But it is definitely a doable job. After I was finished drove the car straight to a tire place and had them do an alignment on the car...

As mayor said, site isnt as important as brand and quality. this is one of the jobs that you only want to do once and be good for thousands of miles....From reading alot of posts, the bushings on the cheap ones will fall apart quickly because they cant handle the heavy front end on these cars..
