Hey guys,
So I've done a lot of work on the beast as of late. Including rebuilding the entire front suspension, control arms, bushings, tie rods, new shocks/struts, mounts and springs all around. I've done the brakes as well with new pads, new OEM rotors and a brake fluid flush. I left the calipers as they were, old. Pelican parts didn't have rebuild kits in stock when I did the brakes so I had to let that go. Overall the car drives fantastic.
But it still have this issue I can't figure out.
But when I come to stop I get a slight pulse in the brakes, it's almost "eccentric" as the car is stopping and it is really only noticeable at light stopping speed. If you stand on the brakes it hard you don't notice it. It's driving me crazy as there isn't much left to replace that I haven't already done.
Could this be due to me not rebuilding the brake calipers? The caliper piston is possibly binding? Or is this possibly the ABS unit? I don't think it's the wheal bearings but you never know. I keep leaning towards caliper rebuild time, I'm curious if any one else has experienced this.
As always any input is appreciated. I would love for this car to come to a clean stop.
Cheers,
Rob
