328XI Heater problem

Hey everyone,
Quick question. Recently I have been noticing that the heater in my car isn't getting anywhere near hot during the cold mornings. The air that seems to be coming out is "luke warm" at best (not enough to warm up my car) and that's after driving my car on the highway for about 25 miles. I searched and saw that it could be either an air pocket in the cooling system or a thermostat problem. I was able to access the "secret" menu and saw that during the highway runs when it's cold outside the radiator fluid temp gets to about the high 70's. When I turn on the heater, it drops down to the 60's. I'm thinking its a thermostat problem? But I have no warning lights popping up or anything. And again this is the most noticeable when it's particularly cold outside.
Thanks!
