About ESS Tuning
ESS was founded 1995 in Aremark, Norway, and a main contender in supercharging BMW Models, particularly the M3. ESS started out with a yearly production of 30 SC systems, in 2004 total production passed 1000 SC systems making us the largest BMW supercharger system manufacturer in the world.

With a vast knowledge in supercharging, ESS's goal when developing a new tuning product is to enhance the performance characteristics of the car without compromising comfort, drivability, durability, emissions and fuel consumption under normal driving conditions.

ESS E-Flash ECU Performance Software
ESS E-FlashFlash ECU software is a result of extensive testing and exact calibration of ECU parameters to allow conservative performance gains on an otherwise stock car. The ESS software is developed and tested in extreme heat in the Arizona desert as well as extreme cold temperatures in Scandinavia.



Product Description
The end user can select between tuned and stock software versions simply using the E-Flash system to load whatever version is required. Any future updates or changes in modifications can easily be accommodated through an emailed update. This system is compatible with the latest tuner protected ECU software and does not require a backdating of the ECU software to be able to tune it. Keep all the functionality of the latest BMW factory operating system and enjoy the increased performance of the ESS calibration.

When ordering this product you will receive 1 ESS E-Flash OBD2 reprogramming system which will VIN lock to your car. The ESS E-Flash Cable can be used to program between stock and tuned, and can also be used to load custom files/race fuel files/updates received directly from ESS over email.

Engine Diagnostics
ESS E-Flash also includes full engine diagnostic functionality and code clearing capabilities. Codes can be also saved to a text file for archiving.
