Buying out of state
Me again.
So if you saw my earlier post you saw that I thought I bought an 88 e36i w/sport package; deal fell through and I'm back to looking for a car. Darn. Have any of you purchased a car from an out of state seller? How was the transaction handled? How was the vehicle paid for? How can you get a certified check before you know the actual price and so on? If I drive 200 miles to check out a car and decide I like it, would you pay a deposit then drive back with certified check or what? How are these type of transaction handled? Just wondering because there aren't too many (nice) e36is or i for sale around here (Northern Ohio). Any advice? Thanks, Joe |
