I need a suspension kit. can anyone help?

hey, i have a '92 325i. i'm looking to replace my suspension. can anyone suggest to me? what i should get and what brand?. what is a good way to go? and any reasons?

After seeing and experiencing this set up on my buddy's 5 series i knew it was only a matter of time before i too could experience that. i just put on bilstein sport shocks all around with bavarian autosport lowering springs. The shocks and springs are on sale @ bavauto.com front shocks (each) $148.45 and the rear are $76.45 the springs are $199 so the entire set up would be around $650. You'll be lower too by about 1.5" in the front and 1.2" in the rear. = lower center of gravity= ultimate handling. The sale ends by july 1 so i'd hurry.

I don't understand why people want to change their suspension considering stock suspension kicks ass.

I also have the Bilstein sport and Bavarian autosport package on my '94 325ic. I replaced the whatever was left of the stock after 10 years and 115k when I bought this car, and it works very well. Extremely stable at speed (the old wallowed) very flat cornering (the old wasn't bad but not as good), and overall ride is still quite comfortable. You will need to have a realignment to reset camber, especially on the rears. I suggest installing rear shock tower reinforcing plates when doing the change. You will need to be careful over certain vertical curves such as speed bumps, but it's not a problem for all of the improvement.

I would recommend an Eibach lowering kit. It came on my car when I bought it and later on I test drove a similar BMW with the stock and what a difference! With the Eibach kit, It sits lower making the drive more enjoyable and I can take corners at 20-25mph faster than the stock springs. When braking or accelerating, the car stays horizontal and it yet its stiff and responsive, it soaks up the bumps like a caddilac.

My vote goes for the UUC/Sach's Sports tuned suspension stage 4. Plus look into repalcing most other suspension components. Try understeer.com they can set up nice deal and advise what parts shouls be replaced. They have a few kits especially since you have a 92' like me.
