Replacing regular bulbs with LED bulbs
I was thinking of replacing my signal and reverse lights with LED bulbs. The kind that are simple plug in replace ments like these:
I heard that if I use these bulbs, my check brake light warning will go on because the LEDs are drawing a much lower current...and since the BMW sensors read the current and not the bulb I would get a warning and need load resistors and such. Is that true? If so I guess I will skip these and just get some Japanese PIAA bulbs instead. After reading about the HID reverse lights, I am just going to pick up some hyper whites and call it a day... Thanks for any info. |

Where can i go to find those? I hope to replace my dome lights in my cars as those seem to drain the battery or so says my voltmeter in my radar detector...

Most places will also sell a load in order to not trigger those burnt bulb warnings.

Yes. the Escort Solo S2(cordless) does. When you use the optional powercord it will show your cars voltage when you push the Mute button.
