2001 Bluetooth Setup

Hello, I was wondering how the bluetooth is setup from my phone within the vehicle. I have seen many different types on instructions, but none for the E39. Curious as to how it's done, I no longer have the instructions given, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
