black wagon sighted

saw a black e60 wagon today. wow. badass..boss..and all that good stuff. almost got sapphire black myself but couldnt bring myself to do it here in oregon with all the rain. i would need a full time detailer just to keep it looking nice!

My e46 325i was black sapphire metallic and it was beautiful....when it was clean. By the time I would get home from the dealer's free carwash every Saturday, I would have to take a California Duster to it. (FYI--e60=sedan, e61=wagon)

that is why i settled on titanium grey. much easier to maintain while still looking very sharp.

I dunno...maybe marginally better but still seems to show dirt pretty darn quick. It is a dark color after all but certainly not black.

my last car (an audi) was good old silver. nothing hides dirt like silver. i agree with you the titanium grey shows the dirt pretty darn fast. i still like it though and NOTHING is a hard to keep looking great as black. although, i admit when it is clean and waxed. black is awesome. i have had 4 silver/grey variation cars in a row. monaco blue is nice but it looks like just as much work as black...i could see next time going back to titanium silver with black interior...an oldie but a goodie..interestingly mercedes silver is better looking tha bmws. i saw many e-class wagons and sedans in silver in europe and for some reason they really show well in that color..

My E39 wagon was Sterling Grey. Pretty easy to keep clean.

Current car is Saphire Black. I know the local touchless car wash operator on a first name baisis.

Saw a carbon black E61 a few weeks ago. Looked sweet in the showroom. My bet would be that it would be a bugger to keep looking sharp.

WOW. I hate station wagons. That's probably the only wagon I would ever consider buying.

That wagon definitely isn't your typical grandmother's wagon.
