cpt 8000 activation 2002 745i - Bimmerfest

I Just ordered a BMW Timeport CPT 8000 on Ebay. can anyone tell me how to tell the differnce between the two services ( CDMA or not), and where to activate it. There is unfortunately no BTUM that I can find for the 8000 and I am tired of waiting for one.

ajf, There is a member here who has been all through this, and probably knows more about it than anyone else. His user name is chowan24. Either search and read his posts on the subject, or send him a PM.
