1987 535 Is

Electic doors and trunk are not working. Can't get in my own car! Well, the key will begrudgingly allow me access to driver door via key entry. However, I can't even reach from the inside and pull up door handles to open other three doors. I think the problem has started from the trunk. Is there an adjustment that needs to be made for contact to allow electrical flow?
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked to make sure you haven't blown the fuse?
