best way to connect an ipod to car stereo

Hello, i was hopeing for some advice on the best way to connect an ipod to the car stereo. The car i have is an 05 mini oneD with just the standard mini CD player in. I dont really want anything to expensive as i am abit short of cash at the moment but any advice would be great.
