Lightbulb Official Bimmerfest Road Rally May Return for 10th Anniversary Event!
You heard it right! In one of our many meetings with law enforcement, I discussed the possibility of rejuvenating my favorite part of The 'Fest with CHP lieutenants. The good news is that I was given an indication that if it was properly planned, and if we would be willing to pay $ for CHP escorts, the Rally may once again be feasible...



Would anyone care to join us?

I'd be willing to join you -- once I get out of law school hell.

I keep missing the 'Fest by about a week. My last final is tomorrow. Missed 'Fest by five days this time around.

I would be down for sure.! i always loved that part of the fest, specially seeing hundreds and hundreds of BMW on the side of the road waiting for everyone else.

EEEFFFFIN' YEAH! BRING THE RALLY BACK! It has been my favorite part of the fest (with the exception of the last 2)!

These are from 2005's Rally. About 99% of the cars in the pics are all BMWs:

Recent ED: 25 June 10, 328xiT in Red. Then headed SW to Italy & France. Flew home via Rome. Hoegh Kobe departed 22 July; unloaded at PH 17 Aug. Redelivery 11 Sept. (Re-redelivery 14 Sept....read the details here.)
Previous ED: 7 June 08, X3 3.0si in rosso corsa (*), then off to Italy, Austria, Slovenia. (*Note: A61 Crimson Red north of the Alps.)
Back-up vehicle (while waiting for re-deliveries): 1999 M Roadster in Estoril Blue.

I think he was referring to paying the CHP -- and then having that additional cost added to the overall cost of Bimmerfest (admission).

Or maybe not. LOL.
