95 740i airbag light is on
hi all
i think i messed something up when i tried to put the chrome cluster rings cause after i put everything together the airbag light came on and is not going off.any ideashow to get rid off it?thanks in advance

you need a reset tool. no way to do without one. did you plug everything back in?? you may have tweaked the clockspring.

today as i was driving around three mins after starting the car the airbag light went off but it would come back on next time i start the car and it would go off 3 mins later again.
i did plug everything back in,there was only 3 sockets in the back so i hooked them back up.everything else is working . wht do you meant i might have tweaked the clockspring?i thought clockspring was located in the steering wheel.
