When will GT 535 be available in USA? Also xDrive?

I am interested in the new GT with the turbo six engine which my wife drives in her 2008 535xi Sport Wagon - love that engine. Anyone know when a GT 535 will be available for order (under ED), and also when will it be available with xDrive ?

I could be completely wrong, and I'm sure someone will correct me, but I thought I read somewhere that is was December. An xDrive GT is anybody's guess.

I stopped by the South Florida auto show for lunch yesterday, and saw the 5GT in person.

It is basically a new 7 with a hatch, and I saw that in a good way. I had a chance to drive the new 7 for a weekend and I was seriously amazed by the interior and the engine. The 5GT is every bit as nice as the 7's interior with the 10" i-drive and unreal backseats.

They had the 550GT at the show, but the reps assured me that they will have a 535GT and 535GTx drive available which will go on sale December 8th.

Don't know if you guys caught it but the December issue of Car and Driver seems to have the first real non-camo front and rear shots of the F10. I was impressed. Time to sell the '07 550i!

Any chance of scanning those and posting?

The weird thing is that the article lists a credit for illustrations, not for photography, but after seeing the GT, that has to be it.

Thanks! I noticed the fenders don't have side markers. The hood looks a little over-done, kind of like an illustrator might do, but I'll bet it's pretty close. I think it looks good and BMWs always look better in the metal.
