Dynamic Destination Guidance

I am having trouble with the Navigation Dynamic Guidance. I have turned this feature on but it does not appear to do anything.

When I had this feature in my M6, although termed differently, when there was any traffic obstruction the navigation made a change and avoided the problem. During rush hour it would change several times, sometimes quite often. It would take me all over the place on roads I never knew but always got me to my destination while avoiding the traffic.

I have yet to see the navigation in my 7er ever make a change en-route. It does bring up the the real time traffic and shows the traffic reports but this does not seem to make a difference. The triangle lights up red when there are obstructions or delays but the route never changes.

Anybody having similar experiences or has any suggestions as to what is going on?

I have this same problem in the LCI E90, even with the latest CIC software. What nav version do you have?

Now that 2010_1 maps are out, I will keep my eyes open to see if that release shows DG works. We don't get release notes with these upgrades!

Except for the fact it re-routed me through the ghetto of Cleveland , I have no complaints. No construction or traffic delays.
