1982 bmw 320i heater blower motor

FYI... fixed the heater blower motor... easy to get at from the firewall side... Bosch motor without squirrel cages costs $60... with squirrel cages cost is $260+... to remove/reuse squirrel cages, soak entire assembly in boiling water for five minutes... they will pop right off.. be careful to note location of counterbalance weights on squirrel cages and make sure you seat the cages at the same location on the new motor spindle or you will get vibration issues running the heater blower... counterweights are located on squirrel cage fins and look like bent staples... easy to miss without a close look!
