What is your driving-related pet peeve?

What is your driving-related pet peeve? Here is one of mine: people who drive with their fog lights on in clear weather.

I have many, but one that really bothers me is driving in the rain without headlights on. In some states, it's law....wipers on, lights on.

driving and talking on the phone.

People who rest their legs/feet on the dashboard. Passengers AND drivers.

canada mandated the drl law so that wouldn't happen. i laugh at people who drives suv's and thinks that drl's waste energy.

Anyone going slower than I want to go.

Oh yeah, and cops.

Those who feel the need to clean their windshields at 80mph with a roadster behind them. I already had a shower!

Especially annoying when everyone is driving into a sunset (or sunrise) and one jerk decides it's time to clean... causing the 4 cars behind him to have to slow down due to even greater reduced visibility due to over-spray. Not to mention the hazard they pose by not being able to see during the process.

Actually, sometimes a yield sign is posted right before a mini loopy on-ramp merges into very fast traffic. In this case, one must stop since there is no way to go moderate speed and then cut in, simply no time to make relative judgement on how fast the approching vehicles are going. So, must wait til train of cars stop showing up. I know I've stopped at a lot of yield signs when the situation is very tricky.

However, I do see your point very clearly when you have perfect view of on coming traffic, especially when there is not a single car coming in the main lane.

I'm not sure any of 'em know what that stalk on the left side of the steering wheel column is.

I don't care where they're going, just when!

As soon as i saw that, i knew it was from a fellow Vancouverite...!!


What's up with that anyways...? What's with these drivers full braking to a stop on a 6 lane roadway (Hastings and Boundry?) to let a pedestrian jaywalk during heavy traffic!!
Let them go to a light or wait til it's clear, goddammit!!!!

The pedestrians in this city now think it's actually their RIGHT to stroll out into the road... anywhere... and take their sweet time crossing...
I have never seen that attitude anywhere else 'en masse' like here...

I'd beat them with a 'stupid stick' but i think someone already beat me too it...

One of my pet peeves is when I drive on UT Campus and there are a bunch of cute college girls walking on the side walk in tank tops and short shorts and slippers and I just cannot continue to look at them because I have to keep up with traffic at 25mph with no visible red light or stop signs coming up!

Honestly, it's gotta be people driving 55mph on a 65mph highway in the inner-most fast lane with no intention of merging to the right lane and letting you pass.

I remember back in college, I was driving on campus and was going uphill curving to the left. There was an info booth for visitors but I forgot about it while looking at a beautiful girl walking on the sidewalk. Then I looked back towards the forward direction and almost hit the info booth. It would have been seriously embarassing if that actually had happened. But then again, who knows, I might just meet the girl and she would melt that I hit the info booth for her.
