Firsties!

I'm sick of snow. The muscles in my legs are diminishing from the lack of pedal pushing.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Kris. But, occasionally, the crappy stuff reveals a better path ahead. (I know, it's hokey, but...)

Sorry to hear that Kris. Divorce is tough. Been there, done that, got a tee-shirt and promptly burned it.

I've been single now for 11 years. Six months ago I met a wonderful woman and fell in love with her. Two days ago I asked her to marry me and she said yes! So I am now engaged and we are planning to tie the knot at the end of May!

Sorry about what happened KrisL, but keep looking up!

So, everyone! Glad that winter is over. Finally got my BMW out of the garage two days ago after sitting for two months. It needed a battery and oil change. Both are DONE ahead of vacation!! I'm on vacation April 12-23 and I'm looking forward to relaxing and spring cleaning the house and garage. Especially the garage! Landscaping. Cannot wait.

So....anyone do CrossFit? I've been dabbling in it and would like to join a gym but it's not in the budget. Suggestions on some modifications for home CrossFit??

Welcome to Spring! Been loving that Steptronic manual shifting in the car. Really MISSED it.

Have a great week!

(Not my work but also don't know the original source.)

A man was driving along in his mini and it broke down. He was parked on the
verge trying fix it when a Jaguar pulled over in front of him and the man
offered to help. After a few minutes they obviously weren't going to get it
going so the Jaguar driver offered him a tow. They hitched up the mini and
agreed that, if he was going too fast, the mini would blow his horn and flash
his lights to get him to slow down and off they set.

At the next traffic lights a Ferrari pulls up beside the Jaguar and revs his
engine provocatively a few times. When the lights turn to amber the Ferrari and
the Jaguar burn rubber and are both soon doing 140mph.

After a while they go through a speed trap and the policeman, realising that he
will need help to catch them, radios in for assistance saying:

"You won't believe what I saw; a Ferrari and a Jaguar doing 140mph side by side
and a mini behind them flashing his lights and blowing his horn trying to get
past".

That's why I took up running, so I could cross-train in the Winter. Riding in the stand is too boring for me. We've just begun a dry spell, so I will probably go for this ride tomorrow: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path...erritory385225 (an out and back over a fairly remote road with a very tough climb - 2 climbs actually - the South side, and then the North side on the way back home).

Nice looking ride but so close to Altamont...watch out for Angels with pool cues...

Try cross-country skiing (preferably in the woods on a hilly trail). Great fun, and great cross-training for cycling. As soon as you embrace winter, it becomes another just season with different things to enjoy.

Kris, sorry to hear that bro, but I hope it's for the best. At least you can finish that list of beers

Ryan, luckily I have minimum feet to snow contact this week.

Well, I'm off to work, be on in 30 min or so.

Anyone else find it strange that it is about 40 degrees at Daytona today. Those guys must be freezing at 198mph with the window down!
