I saved ths excellent file as a PDF which uses 510KB instead of the 6.5MB that the WORD 2007 Doc uses.

To avoid that long download, might be good to replace the link with this PDF file?

Also helpful for Apple users who don't have (or want) Microsoft WORD or anything similar on their machine.

I don't believe the overhead for the WORD formatting and infrastructure is warranted for something like this.

What do you think?

Very nice X3-terrestrial. For common issues how about a section on the SES light and fuel cap loose issues like SIB 12 08 07.

Note, these service recommendations are well in excess of what's included in the "free" BMW maintenance plan, with a goal of keeping the vehicle drivable for 100K+ miles. Some may view these recommendations as excessive.

Sounds good, do you have a copy of the SIB by any chance?

Here's a list of SB's for the 2006.

Here's the instructions for installation of mud flaps - easy but time consuming. (I have pics too)

Thanks for the interest to make this a sticky, I think it would be good to have as a reference. I will PM krisL (I think is our moderator) to see if he agrees.

By the way, the drive dog on my rear left window snapped this weekend while I was out of town, I secured the glass with painters tape to keep it close. I came directly to this thread to look for the DIY's. Will be doing it next weekend.
