can you fill it up with anything higher than a 92 unleaded without damaging the engine? like a 101?

Yes. But I usually mix like 91 with 101, I never ran straight 101 just cause I never found out if 101's leaded or unleaded. If its leaded, I heard its hell for your catlytic converters. But for the extra boost, just mix it. Besides 7.99 a/gal here :P

Higher octane should be just fine. But yes, do make sure there is absolutely no lead content in the fuel you are puting in. It will clog the cat and cause problems. Not to mention cats are expensive.
