16:9 Monitor for NTSC only?
J have a 1999 BMW 750iL (US model) imported to Norway. New Bluetooth, Mark IV nav, 16:9 Display, BM54 radio and a Video switchbox for connecting a Rear View Cam. The Cam is PAL and the nav display just keep rolling when trying to interface the cam. Understand it is a NTSC/Pal issue. Is it possible at all to interface a PAL video source to my 16:9 screen? The Mark IV nav and the 16:9 monitor is from Europe so I am lost as to why not. Please somebody help.

If I had read your initial post thoroughly I wouldn't have said:
Go into the TV tuner from the Nav screen and change the setting from NTSC to PAL. ;-) Sorry, no idea how to tell your device it needs to be in PAL. Last edited by shled; 08-18-2010 at 04:19 PM.

Sorry, I do not have a TV-tuner. Is there a service mode for the monitor?
