Gray Interior Picks
Here are a few pictures of my 2011 535i that I ordered through the military sales program.
Dark Metallic Metal Grey Leather MT Convenience package Cold Weather Package Premium package Active Ventilated seats Split fold down rear seat anthracite headliner Rear sunshade Ipod Adapter Heads Up Display Accessories I have bought from the dealer (also pictured) Rubber floor mats - black (gray is not available) Luggage compartment system I love the car and the color choice is not bad at all. I know many people say that the gray on gray would not look good but i think with the anthracite headliner it give a nice two tone inside and the outside is simply beautiful. I was thinking of getting the cinnamon Brown but I saw it in a Black car and it was not that great. When the sun hits it it just looks too red. I which that had tobacco brown that is in the X5 for the 5 series or even the saddle brown that is offered in the 3 would be alright. I did not get the Nav because I have never like BMW nav but I think i should have just gotten the Premium 2 pack also. I do not think i would have liked the nav anymore than I did but it would have made the driving 'easier' since everything would have been integrated. the active seats are really cool, the ventilated seats are alright, the convenience package is awesome, i like the HUD (i just wish it had more data on it like engine indications, fuel remaining, mpg, etc. like my corvette had). The anthracite headliner is the best. I would have been annoyed with myself if I have not paid the low price of 500 for that. If you have any questions just ask. Hopefully this will help give some people an idea of what the gray interior looks like |

So, HUD is now a stand alone option where it's not tied to the navigation system? If so, that's great.

Yes the HUD is a stand alone option. But it runs for more than 1000 so not a cheap option. if you do not have nav then all it shows you is speed and warnings like when you do not put on your seat belt.
