The New BMW M5 at a Glance

I really like the color they chose for the photos on the M5.

Overall I think it is a pretty good looking car but it does lack a bit of *wow* factor.

Is it just me or did they simply take the bumper from the current ///M3 and slap it on there? If its not the exact same, it certainly looks very similar.

It looks like a pregnant and bloated M3 Sedan. I've never been a fan of 5 series cars, but this looks, in one word, terrible.

I wouldn't kick it out of my garage... E39 is my personal favorite, and this comes close. Every time I see it I like it more...

That car is stunning. Over time it will become one of if not the greatest M5 ever.

I like the color too.

The specs are drool worthy.

I was expecting a bit more aggressive styling and I do agree that it lacks a bit of "wow" factor.

I don't like the current trend in hood lines...too many creases in it and I was hoping they did something different with the M5 hood.

But, I'd still buy it if I could I'm sure driving it would put the styling aside.

I have always been an ass man. With that said, I don't care for the front by like the ass, man. They also forgot the clutch pedal. What gives?

The most impressive fact about this car is that it averaged 28.5MPG imp. If my math is correct, this is an average of 23.7? I must be wrong. If not, it does not even get a gas guzzler tax.

Other than this, it sort of looks like the E63 AMG.

I think the car itself looks great, but it could use a little more flare to it's design. Also, as mentioned before, where is the clutch pedal? Are they really not going to include a manual option this time around? Ugh....

why no v10?? why did they go with a v8!

Personally I like the way it looks. It doesn't stand out too much or look more gaudy than the regular F10 5-series, which is a good thing. I'm glad that they decided to go back to the V8 and throw in twin turbos. V10 engines have never been very stable and reliable. Over all I am very pleased with the result.

Also, I'm sure that It will be available in a standard manual transmission. I notice that BMW keeps trying to push the dual clutch. But many true petrolheads still aren't sold on it, me being one of them. for this car to only be available in DCT would be a severe disappointment to Bimmer enthusiasts everywhere.

Looks like a damn nice ride to me! I wouldn't kick it out of the garage either!

Was hoping for a little more power and a little faster in the 0-60. I mean it should be able to beat a ford mustang which costs a good 60k less!

why, oh why does BMW insist on putting out this horrible shade of blue for their promos ? there are a couple of good looking "blue" colors "out there" but they use this !!)

looks like they chose it from the flag of a sissy nation (it's the french racing color, isn't it ?)
