1 Series Hatch for US
Sep '12 issue of Roundel mag says 2012 1 series 5-door will arrive in the US 6 months after Frankfurt. How reliable and anyone else seen anything to confirm?

I'm wondering about this too. that's why the article is in the rumor section. Seem quite unlikely, although that given the new turbo 4 is replacing the I6, BMW could certainly sell some hatches with lesser 4 cylinders.

Yeah, hope so. I always figured though The Suits at BMW USA thought it would cannibalize MINI sales.
I had a 120d five door for a weeks rental in uk last year. Nice, but it was a small car.
