Tire Recommendation for 645Ci
Anybody have a tire recommendation for my 2004 645Ci?
I'm currently on Bridgestone Potenza's run flats, I think I would like to stay with run flats, however would like to hear pro's and con's. Thanks |

This is a popular subject. You can read prior threads for hours, just do a search.
My take on the pros and cons of RFT. Another thread on RFT List of new RFT models available at TireRack Tire Models/Brands Thread 1 Tire Models/Brands Thread 2

Thanks Yorgi, I was debating the rfts or not. I just bought a 2005 645ci & was looking at wheels, but was reluctant to get a wheel & tire packages, but after reading those threads I'll be using regular radials & purchase one of those kits in case of a flat.

I went with the Ventus V12's. There was a noticeable ride quality improvement when switching away from RFT's. |

Thinking of replacing my OEM Potenzas with the Hankook Ventus
Just curious how are they after running with them for about a year. I noticed this was an older post, so I thought you'd have some experience with them by now.

I had Hankook V12's before on a daily driven Supra. Before that were Pilots. They are great for street use, lasted an insanely long time...I think I got at least 30k miles out of them, but then again, it was for street use only, never tracked or raced or burnouts. Well, like most other tires, it got loud near the end of its life, but I really noticed it was just terrible driving "straight" near the end compared to other tires. All around great tire for everday use.
