E82 1M Coupe (2011 - 2012)
In many ways the spiritual successor to the E30 M3. Powered by a M derivitive of the N54 the inline six makes 340hp and giving the 1M a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds. |

I'm getting winters in two weeks. I'd cry not to drive it in two weeks.

What wheels/tires you put for winter?

I went with my old E46-fitment 18" BBS REs and Michelin PA2 tires; 235s in front and 255s in the back. Needed to get some spacers to offset the offset difference, if you know what I mean.
![]() The tires feel less squishy than I thought they would. Really not too bad. Of course, the already available power-oversteer-on-demand is even a little more available now, with a 10mm narrower contact patch on each shoe. But at least these tires will actually produce something resembling grip when it's colder than 40°F outside.

I have Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D, 235/40 mounted on M Star Spoke 270 18" rims.
Read wheels looks a little weird as they narrower than original. |
