Request - Tint Pics on Dark Graphite

All:

I have searched a bunch of tint threads for pictures of Dark Graphite cars with various tints, but it's hit or miss. Most of the pictures are of cars in other colors.

If you have a DG car and it's tinted, would you mind posting a pic with the tint type / brand and percentage?

Thanks!

If clicking on my current drive in the .sig, you'll see the 761 BMW Individual tinted glass factory option, folks on another forum have guessed this one to be around 35%.
(Note that tinting the front side windows is highly illegal in most European countries)

Only thing I will add is that if you have a black interior then the tint will look darker from the outside. I think 35 is probably the darkest you want to go. It does affect your visibility at night, but only if you are backing into a spot in an unlit area.

Tint

Agree... I have the oyster so it looks fine but 35% is as dark as you need.

20% all around...not sure of brand of tint.

Only had it for a month now so I don't know about heat performance but it looks great.

Front as in windshield?

That I won't do.

When you say front do you mean front door windows or the windshield? I thought windshield tinting is not allowed.

35% on front sides, 20% all rear windows, 10% sunroof - can't remember the brand. Ended up cleaning off the front windows after getting tagged by a bored CHP officer in NorCal - didn't want to deal with that hassle again. I think I prefer the car without any tint on the front windows now.

Dark Graphite II exterior, Oyster/Black interior.

Tint: Llumar ATC 35
Keep in mind this is noon sunshine, so in dark it looks quite dark as well.

Decaf,

Check out my recent pics. I have dark graphite with 50% all the way around I think it's perfect for VA. I have black interior also.

Cool, thanks. Where did you get it installed? What type is it?

I have Oyster, but I don't want to look too dark.

Passport had a guy that they use so I had them do it before I picked up the car. They were cheap, under $200 but I wouldn't use them again. I've used Ziebart in the past in the area and I was happy with them although they do cost more. I like that they dont cut the tint on the car.

Needsdecaf - did you settle on a tint / installer? Going through this process myself and looking to "get it right" - thanks!
