Yokohamas for 2009 X5??
Hey All
About time for new tires (34K so far on the runflat OEMs). I now have the spare so I'll be buying non-runflats and am considering YK580s at discount tire. They have a really high rating (Best/4.5 stars) and are listed at 60K treadlife...They are not the cheapest tire but based on the rating and treadlife they seem like a good pick...That said the treadlife and ratings may be BS. Any thoughts? Thanks... |

Just got 4 Yokohama YK580s and ditched the runflats. The are much quieter than the bridgestone RFTs...

You should definitely have a well for the spare below the mat in the back. I spent about 400 for the spare and jack and based on what i paid for my yokos, i saved about $600 not buying the runflats and the yokos are alot quiter than the oem runflats. The only issue might be that you have 20s...I have 18s. I got my spare thru bmw to be sure i got one that worked. Prob more expensive though...
