Can ceramic controls be after-fitted?
Does anyone know if ceramic controls can be installed after delivery? I wish I'd ordered them at the time I placed my order, but I didn't.

I ordered them and love the look and feel, although i wouldn't spend a dollar to retrofit them. Not worth the hassle

After reading the post on the 5-series board, t looks like I'll be going with the standard controls. Ridiculously expensive, and computer malfunction codes? No thanks...

I agree 100%, especially after everything those people have to go through to have the computer to recognize the ceramic controls. Who would've thought that actually makes a difference in the computer system?

Do you know anyone that has had custom ceramic controls made in place of other aluminum trims, ie gear selector, ashtray and cupholder, etc?
