Steering Wheel Trim Removal

Hey Fellas,

So this coming weekend I am planning to resolve this infamous issue of peeling steering wheel by putting a vinyl wrap on the trim. Can anyone please suggest a way to remove the trim for a 07 M Trim Steering Wheel on X3. I saw the backside of the wheel and there seem to be few holes out of which two are bigger and on the sides. I read on e90 forum that you just need to put a screw driver and push for the airbag to be out and the trim comes off. Can someone who has done this before throw some light on this?

Theres two holes on each side of the steering wheel. Insert a small flat head screwdriver and you should feel a tension spring press on that and it should unlatch the airbag. MAKE SURE you unplug the battery so the airbag doesn't explode and or the airbag light coming on both or which are annoying.
