Achtung! If you are a California resident, I will personally assist with your acquisition.
Now taking custom orders. Most noteworthy is my INVOICE+plus pricing model (not MSRP-down), on 528i and 535i Sedans.. ![]() jshafer@sbautogroup.com

I wish that I could.. Because we are a small dealer our allocation/supply is limited. We therefore only offer the program to residents of California and the adjacent states.

535i
Hi Jon,
I'm new to the forum. Really nice job with this.. I am coming out of an MB lease in a couple of months. I was wondering if you could quote me a lease on a 535i Deepsea blue, oyster black interior leather, premium package, technology package, upgraded audio, heated front seats and BMW Apps 15000 miles/year. I'm looking to put no cap reduction down.I would like to do maximum MSD to reduce the MF. I have also $1000 olympic drive coupon. Are there any conquest coupons (MB apparently does these for BMW owners). Prior to the MB I was on a BMWFS lease for 3 years. Does that count as loyalty (coming back )I live in SoCal. jvidhun@yahoo.com Thanks |

535i Lease -- Opinions ?
Hi Everyone,
I'm currently getting out of a 528i lease in 6 weeks and my local BMW (Los Angeles) dealership is quoting me the following and saying I should take the deal by end of May (otherwise incentives may go away). I'd appreciate if you guys can give me comments on this. I'm trying to verify the MF/Residuals/incentives are all correct: 535i Sedan (Silver Color) Sports Package, Technology Package, Premium Package, Sprots Automatic Paddles ($500) MSRP: $61,625 Invoice : $56,700 However, they added $380 Maco, $200 Training/Service Fee, and $231 "Dealer Prep & PDI Fee" so actual Invoice is $57, 510. They subtracted $1500 loyalty rebate and current $1500 option allowance so I'm about $55,570 adjusted capital cost. 36 month / 12,000 mile lease: Residual : 58% MF: 0.00185 $1,352 Drive off (1st month & dmv fees + $135 tax on the $1500 rebate) $721/month $785 (including taxes) I have a few questions: 1) Is 0.00185 MF correct ? (i heard that owner loyalty may be lower) 2) is 58% residual correct ? 3) should they add MAco/Service fees and this $231 dealer prep fee ? Any comments appreciated ! |

Dealer prep fee? I've never seen this added and its sounds like something you should question. In my recent order, Maco and training fee was added, but no other fees (except for the documentary fee $150, which is also something you can negotiate, but I usually don’t bother for $150 on a $60k+ car loan). - let the finance guy get something out of me

No, however whether ED or US delivery, we focus on selling to West Coast buyers exclusively. If you are in the South East the best
CA available is none other than our own Adrian Avila who has been helping Bimmerfest members for the past 9 years. If you are in FLORIDA there is no need to all the way to CALIFORNIA to get a good deal... ![]() He can be reached at AdriansBMW@gmail.com. Feed your local economy. Quote:
Plus, we are a small dealer. I am not out for global domination. That, and I really enjoy meeting all of my buyers that come from my website face to face. That is primarily why I came out of retirement... Quote:
![]() ![]() It's just another way to milk an extra $231 out of your pocket...

Hello Jon,
Do you know of anyone that offers this type of service in TX? What do you think about offer posted below? What is considered a reasonable offer for leasing an 528i with Premium and Technology Packages? Thanks. Quote:

Jon, we leased a 650 and a 750 this past year but we need to get 2 more cars, probably 535's. I know there is a national ad going now, but can you make it more attractive so we can get them from you.
I enjoy these forums and would love to support you if at all possible. 12k/36

When I build a new 5 series online the MSRP is 66,000. How can I tell what the invoice is? Are any of my selections redundant?

Hi Jon,
after reading hundreds of your posts everyday, I've finally joined the forum. I would like to send you the specs I'm shopping for, here in Bay Area CA. It'll be great if you can offer something special so I can drive down to Santa Barbara for it. Should I PM you the config that I am planning to lease? I am ok with waiting until summer to get a sweet deal. Let me know. Thanks a lot. |

Phoenix ?
Hi Jon,
I am in the market for a 550i and am wondering if you work with folks in the Phoenix metro area? I have heard great things about your service and pricing here on the forums and just thought I'd reach out to you and see if you are interested in discussing a car ![]() Regards, Craig |

Costco offers invoice plus pricing on all cars, including BMW to members. I have a purchased BMW and Audi through Costco recently and found the deals very straight forward and clean. Everything you purchase, including any warranties are invoice plus one markup in dollars.
The only issue is Nashville had no authorized dealers for either car so had to go to Atlanta (4 hours away) for both. Got complete pricing and trade in over the phone. Really smooth way to purchase a car.

Looking for best price on 535 in Southern California
Could anyone tell me if this deal is possible? I had a dealer get within $1k of my price so far.
2013 535i (Jet Black/Oyster (or black interior), Anthracite Wood 8-Speed Steptronic Automatic Transmission (205) Standard Paint (-PAINT) Oyster/Black, Dakota Leather Seat Trim (LCCX) Jet Black (668) Rear-View Camera (3AG) Front & Rear Park Distance Control (508) Technology Pkg (ZTP) Hard Drive-Based Navigation System (609) BMW Apps (6NR) Anthracite Wood Interior Trim (4CE) M Sport Pkg (ZMP) Aluminum Hexagon Interior Trim (4MR) Looking to lease 12k/miles, 36 months, Max out MSD, 2-3k additional cap reduction, payments $550/month INCLUDING tax. I think sales price needs to be $56-57k for this deal to work. |

What is the MSRP of the vehicle as specified? It is helpful to know what your estimate to know what the selling price would need to be to swing the deal, but short of reverse-engineering your entire deal, a quick answer could be revealed just by knowing where the selling price would be relative to invoice. Is there any profit as structured? Under invoice? How much?

MSRP and Invoice
Thank you for the feedback. Here are the details on pricing according to the BMWConfig.com site:
MSRP: $61,175 Invoice: $56,845 (includes $350 MACO, and $200 Training) I believe the residual for 12k/yr and 36 months is 62%, and with MSD the money factor can be down to .00078. Im in an 8% tax jurisdiction. $2K Cap Reduction for a $559/mo payment including tax if selling price was $56k. Anyone have insight into June 2013 possible incentives? Im guessing something will come out soon as the 2014 go into production? |
