Strange SVT for same FA/VO

Hi guys, would appreciate your input on this scenario:

I loaded the FA from the vehicle, calculated the FP & Activated the FA.

Then I Read the VCM & calculated the target SVT. No changes were made to the FA from original.

The attached result, displays multiple 2nd gen ECU's that are supposed to exist for the FA, but in fact do not. (eg. DSC2, EKPM2, HU_NBT etc..)

So my questions are:

1. Does it mean that the daten files have an integration step which is too high for the current hardware in the car?

2. If that's the case, does it mean that a global update at the dealer doesn't necessarily mean you get the latest but rather the latest which was available for your module/s?

3. ..and how would I go about if I wanted to select the latest for my modules?

Thanks for your input.

Well, thats rather interesting. I don't really know the answer though. I guess the best and only way is to have the dealer do a full ISTA/P update, and see if it adds them.

What do you mean by "2nd gen ECU's"? I am not familiar with this term.

In the above attachment, DSC & EKPM appear in blue (ie. installed) and DSC2 & EKPM2 in red (ie. required)..so I called them 2nd gen..

I'm contemplating whether esys+daten files allow to program a previous target. The file availability in the SWE folder suggests that yes, but I-Step (target) in Coding does not list additional levels..
