Satnav update

Hi,
I have 2009 F01 730d; I asked my local dealer how much it would be to update the maps in my car ... The told me the update DVD is £200 + taxes and installation (1hours labour).

Does anyone know of an alternative source for the update discs?

Try bimmer-tech.net . I just got 6NR retrofit from them and they have great customer support&service.

Thanks for the link, they have the activation code but no map DVD.

How easy was your installation of the retrofit 6NR? I'm tempted to have that and the Sirius installed into mine.

If you have bluetooth It should be pretty straight forward and easy. I didn't have bt to begin with so I had to wire microphone and bt antenna which were some what difficult. Other than that 6NR and sirius should be easy. Contact Patryk via bimmer-tech.net contact form. He can help with the maps. I didn't have nav and I received the DVDs with the activation code. I'm now retrofitting HUD.
