Problems with the SMG gearbox
Hey guys.
I have problems with my SMG gearbox... A yewllow lamp looking like a gear wheel and a "!" in the middel is showing. And then it wont change gear. Mostly skips the 3 gear. Any chance you guys know of this problem? ///RS

Sorry, most of us are in the US and we didn't get the E36 M3 with SMG I.
Sounds like it is in limp mode, though. Likely to need a rebuild. Or it could be something simple, like the pump. I'd take it to a transmission shop. Good luck.
