2001 740i - PS fluid connects with trans. fluid?

1. Is it true that the power steering fluid and transmission fluid are connected together in the same black reservoir on the driver side? I trace the hoses: 1 go to the power steering pump; the other goes to the cooling fins in the front then back to the transmission. That is my thought. Many thanks in advance

2. . 2 weeks ago, my NAV display stopped working after I disconnected the battery to replace my oil cover gasket. Where can I find the fuse box? What exact fuse that I look for?

No. Transmission fluid is a separate system. There is a transmission fluid cooler but they never mix. The only way to check level is to jack the car on 4 stands and remove the filling plug. Check E38.org or search forum for threads.
