Laser Interceptor lazer diffuser/jammer installation

I have been doing research on laser jammers and decided that I would like to have the Laser Interceptor diffuser installed in my new X3. Does anybody have experience with this product? Also can anyone give me an idea of how much it should cost to have it installed as well as how long it should take to be installed. I live in Connecticut but would be willing to travel to New York if needed. Lastly do I need to be concerned about the installation of this laser jammer interfering with any of the computer systems in the car?

How the hell you get away with that sh1t in the US I have no idea. Police over here in blighty catch you using laser (or radar of other come to think of it) avoidance gadgets and you get butt-f**ked.

They must be clever kit?

Here is what I found why in USA:

Radar Jammer:

Unlike police laser (at least in most states), police RADAR can not be legally jammed, in fact, any attempt to do so (whether one is successful or not, most active radar jammers are not) is a federal offence and violates FCC regulations. Late in 1997, the FCC also ruled that so-called passive-reflector type "radar scramblers" are also illegal to operate whether they are effective or not (they're not) because the FCC considers any attempt as "malicious interference" and as such can not be licensed by the FCC (radar detectors are also subject to FCC licensing requirements since they too emit RF).

Laser Jammer:

Laser is regulated by FDA and no licence required.

Laser interceptor is the best, it's a full day install though. Nothing beats it. I have a guy in Long Island who installs it if you want his # PM me.

Get the BMW version of the Laser Interceptor. Positioning of the sensors is critical for acceptable performance. You will need to have your installation tested with real police laser guns. Google "ECCTG" to learn more about installation and testing.
