Blower motor

i have a 95 740il and sometimes the a/c works but when something gets to hot it just shuts down. Now I was driving and had the a/c on, it was working fine then it just shut off and it will not come back on. Does anyone know what the problem is? Also only one side was working. One side was blowing cold and the other was blowing hot.

it sounds like there may be two issues going on, one sounds like the blower motor is going out, the second is the blend door motor or door its self has failed, i was able to fix both of these concern myself at no parts cost just labor. but you can probably take care of this yorself, respond back and ill try to walk you threw this.

i think i might have a answer to your problem my 750il had the same issue, the blower motor would shut down just like yours i have able to remove this, clean the brushes, and armature, then adjust the springs to the brushes, when i was making this repair i found the blend door motor linkage had broken which required alot of work, if this sounds like what you need respond but and i can give you detailes to make these repairs

I'm have the same issue. It ac or air period on works when I'm moving any ideas?
