What is Z4M

I hate to ask a stupid question, but here goes. I have a 2003 Z4 3.0 Convertable. What exactly is a Z4M and how would one know the difference. Please hold the laughter till all the answers are end. Thank you.

The z4m has the m suspension. M engine and drivetrain. M steering wheel and interior. M bumpers. It's a true sports car

What would I look for to determine whether mine is an M or not. I think mine is standard but I don't know what to compare it to.

Agreed- ALL Z4's are "true sports cars". The M version is just more hard core.

Now that is what I wanted to hear. Thanks to everyone for helping me to clear this matter up. I will now go enjoy my "true" sports car Roadster.

Basically, if you have to ask, you don't have one.

It's the camero "SS" compared to the plain old basic model

Walk around back, and count the exhaust tips. If you have 4, most likely it's an M.

OK I have only two, so I can just enjoy my "old plain Jane" that I still love. Thanks for the quick replys and not callilng me stupid.

Another sure way to tell: Z4 M Roadsters were only made from 2006 through 2008.

Oh yeah, that and the ///M logo/badges on each front fender and on the trunk lid, and on the steering wheel, gauge cluster, gear shift knob, and the headrests, on the door sills, on the wheels, and most importantly, on the engine. Kind of hard to miss.

And you don't just have a "convertable", you have a roadster.
