Software / Language change

Hi all X drivers

My dad just bought himself a 2010 X6 40d from Italy and needless to say the cars voice MMI is all in Italian. Does anyone know a way to change / SW update the X6 to change the language to English?

I did this myself many years ago on my Z4 via a CD, is there perhaps a similar way on the X6 via a CD/DVD or the USB port?

BMW dealers here said they can do it for around £200, I'm hoping there is a cheaper DIY way?

When my friend was also facing the same problem then he also tried to do with the help of an CD but it did not work out and at last he went to the dealer and the dealer took around £270. So i would suggest you to take it to the dealer only.
