Order just went in today.. long wait begins..

update: 10/3/2012
on monday i called 1800 number and heard my vehicle is on the way to port or exit

talked to my CA yesterday and he said about another 3 weeks or so.

i doubt 3 weeks.. maybe 4weeks?

anyway i might be able to get my car within 7 weeks from the day i placed order which is great!

just ordered my 2013 335xi sedan.... finally...

exterior was no problem, i only wanted white but for interior my first option was black leatherette.

but i changed to coral red leather seat at the last minute.. (just coudln't give up da RED)

ma CA told me my car will be here within 6 weeks..

can't wait....

and I want black kidney grilles for ma car..

I doubt 6 weeks but hope he is correct. Congrats! Hope he gave you a production number. Only way you can track it.

I've been waiting four and a half months. Just one more to go. Put it in that perspective and you'll be fine.

I ordered mid-August; production scheduled mid-October, delivery early December.
"6 weeks" for your car seems very unlikely, especially for a 335i.

I signed my deal on July 7th. Hope to get it in the next 2 weeks. I would think 6 weeks is not likely.

6 weeks for a 335i? I doubt it, I ordered July 3rd hoping to get mine by early October. Granted the factor did close down for two weeks in August.

I'm going on 8 weeks for a 328. Car has been off the boat since the 7th and sitting at the dealer. CA told me earliest is Wednesday or Thurs. He orginally told me 6 weeks too.. Which dealer did you go to btw?

i went to bayside bmw..

and rallye told me samething too XD

I'm with Manhattan, went to Bayside first because it was closer, they gave me a 5 min test drive with a car with no gas

Who is expecting. To be on Wednesday or Thursday's vessel. I am hoping for Thursday instead of Wednesday. It will actually arive earlier by couple of days.

Same here! My order will be go in at this Sat. I still couldn't decide what exterior should we go for. I want white, but my wife wants red......... still debating~ sigh~

It took just about 8 weeks from order to pickup of my 328i. Got it Monday. Life is good! Really looking forward to my roadtrip this weekend :-).

I'm awaiting the same color combo on our 335xi... no M-Sport on ours, though. Congrats!

My order was placed on Sept 5 and the car should hit the paint shop on the way to final assembly late tomorrow or early next week... but mine was a build slot already allocated. Wait times will vary based upon how many build slots your dealer has been assigned.

Congrats again on superior color taste!
