transfer actuator failure

hello,i am a new member to this forumso hello!
i have an x6 35d from 2010 it has 30k miles on the clock and i have been enjoing it.
but two days ago i have seen on the main screen and dashboard a 4x4 failure,i have went to the garge and they told me that the actuator of the transfer case is broken and needs to be replaced,has any one enconterd with this kind of problem?

I had a total transfer case replacement on my X6 with 17900 miles. I took my car in for a regular service and mentioned hesitation w/turns. They found a faulty module--they tried a replacement motor and the repair failed and did a total replacement.
