New E34 540i Owner - What is this part?

Hi, just purchased a 95 E34 540i. Overall it needs work but I look forward to fixing it up.
This forum has been a wealth of information.

However, I can't seem to find what the heck is this?

Your input is much appreciated.

I am using a pic from the web but I am missing this part. Any clue what it is called so I can buy it off ebay?

Go here and look at item #5 "cover" on the diagram. It's the switch panel for the sunroof.

What the fuzzy dice???

I'm just messin. But seriously...

Some of those covers are hard to find brand new since some of the colors have gone NLA. You may have to resort to a junkyard, just letting you know.

PERGAMENT is the only NLA roof liner color...you can walk into the dealership and buy any of the other colors.

Ah, well that's slightly comforting. E34 ain't that old.

I just bought one from the local yard.
$3.00, with the switch.
Try Ecology, they will have a bunch of E34's.

I call it "Mechanics Univ."
Not sure how it goes?
The JY is the best place to practice, then you have it wired when you work on your car.
