no sport pkg, driver assist, convenience, premium, etc. and overpriced .....

There nothing wrong with the basic 550i. If you are keeping the car for a long time and desire lower service issues, your looking at the right car. Price, you can do ED for the same equipment for $57,000. I do not see the long term value in putting $15,000 options on an already nicely equipped car.

It does seem very much stripped, so if you're planning to purchase, when you go to sell/trade, it could come back to haunt you. I imagine the absence of relatively "typical" options for this car class will be demanded by the market at that point, and of course the dealership will remind you of this when they present the utterly low offer to you.

First off, I think BMW gallery of Norwood tend to over price their used cars. A 2012 550i can be had for about $10000 off right now, therefore, I would think that a 2011 with no sport package should be around high $40Ks to $50K.

eh.. i wouldnt touch that car. that car is a nightmare to sell. think about it; the 6spd manual market is already a very limited one; but i will assume that the majority of those people are more "sporty", hence requiring at least a sport package (or m-sport). this car appears to not have a single option on it. i wouldnt touch it. keep looking. there is a very nice one at BMW of ocala (in FL) that is a very nicely loaded 2011 550i 6spd manual that was a demo. they were unrealistic with pricing when i bought my car in july, so they may be open to dealing if they still have it; it's still on cars.com:
