Sooo... I guess the 3rd time was the charm...
I posted on here 3 months ago about a transmission problem I've been having with my 550i, well in the past 3 months I've taken it to the dealer here in Houston 3 times for the same issue. My transmission feels likes its slipping. When I come to a nice and slow stop my tranny does an awful kick, when changing from second to first gear. It's make my driving experience not enjoyable... The first time they reset the software, second time they replaced the entire gear shifter, this last time, they have finally duplicated the harsh shifting and because it, my advisor has contacted BMW about this issue. She is waiting to hear back from BMW because her technician old her that the tranny was giving him serious issues .... I really hope it gets resolved, because I don't feeling paying for a transmission repair 2 years from now. (My 550 is still under warranty) |

What did it feel like when it did it? Like you were hit from behind jerking you backward? Or a lunge forward?
