Greetings, just joined after recently purchasing 2007 335i coupe, low mileage, 6 speed.
The passenger side flimsy shoulder harness retractor functions, but for no reason now stops about 2 inches short of fully retracting into the post. Gently pushing it all the way doesn't keep it from popping 2 inches out again, although it works to extend the harness. Is this common, and, is there a fix w/o dealer or shop intervention and big dollars? Also, I have a JB4 Plug 'n Play which is spectacular, and highly recommend.
