Z4 Roadster (E85) Speed volume for 2008 M Roadster

Anyone know how to adjust the stereo's speed sensitive volume (GAL) on the 2008 M Roadster? I tried holding down the SET for 8 seconds after powering on, but all I got was a serial number display.
